The Austin native truly dove into his love for music in 2009, when he focused on his love for DJing. During that time he curated multi-genre sets, opening for well respected tastemakers like Tipper, Skrillex, Glitch Mob, Deadmau5, Kaskade, and more. With a passion for so many genres, it truly helped him find his calling, and led him to many adventures within the industry.
In 2011, Brede put that passion into full force and started Gravitas Recordings. The vision behind this idea was to give those music lovers and creators from all walks of life, a platform to share their sounds and devotion to the, with the world. On top of being home to releases spanning across a multitude of genres, Gravitas also donates to many different charities through their compilation releases. With such a vast discography and group of creators, Gravitas continues to prove that genres need to know no bounds. They push the envelope of genre barriers and inspire others to allow themselves to flourish in whatever way calls to them. Which makes sense with its mantra being “Doing Good With Good Music.” This beloved label has also been a home for artists like CloZee, Of The Trees, Savej, A Hundred Drums, Au5, Josh Teed, and countless more.
Jesse is a true entrepreneur who never confines himself to just one topic or career, and with a drive to help those around him, it only makes sense he dipped his toe into other areas as well. He founded the full service multi-media and web design firm, Lion Share Digital, helping an abundance of clients not only in the music but outside the sphere of it too.
But he didn’t stop there, with the knowledge and his long time love and comprehension of the dance music industry, Brede founded Pivotal Agency in January of 2014. Once again giving talented individuals a place to be heard and succeed in the ways they had always dreamed of. From there he managed well respected maestro’s of sound like CloZee, Dirtwire, Christina Soto, Desert Dwellers, and Beats Antique.
