Gravitas Recordings is Born

For the last 4 months, I’ve been quietly creating my newest project.

Been a Minute

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything here. Life has been crazy busy, planning a wedding, Sedef and I fostered 3 baby kittens, started a record label, http://gravitasrecordings.com, visited Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, started taking piano lessons, had the 9th Annual Brede Bash with Zeale, Ill-Esha, Kid Slyce, The Pinch and myself.

Apple Introduces Revolutionary New Laptop With No Keyboard

I ordered my first Mac this week.  I’m getting a 15″ 2.6 GHz with 4 GB of RAM and a 320 G 7200 RPM HD.  This is a big deal for me.  I’ve been using PCs for the last 18 years.  I ran DOS, Win 3.1, all that crap.  I made the jump simply because I want a stable reliable laptop that won’t lock up when producing music or playing Serato.  Every musician/DJ I know uses a Mac, I guess I just couldn’t deny it anymore.  My HP is pretty nice, but VISTA is a GIANT piece of horse shit.  They were basically trying to rip off the coolness of OSX and just made XP slower, stupider and more of a pain in the ass.  I guess having an iPhone warmed me up to Macs. For music I plan to run Serato, Ableton, and Logic.  For photography, work and personal life, I’ll probably install the Adobe CS4 suite, Lightroom or Aperature and Office.  Anything else I’m missing?

Here’s to you Mr. Jobs, you can have more of my money.
