New Track and Video from Pretty Lights – We Must Go On
Great new mix from The Glitch Mob – get it while it’s hot!
For the last 4 months, I’ve been quietly creating my newest project.
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything here. Life has been crazy busy, planning a wedding, Sedef and I fostered 3 baby kittens, started a record label, http://gravitasrecordings.com, visited Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, started taking piano lessons, had the 9th Annual Brede Bash with Zeale, Ill-Esha, Kid Slyce, The Pinch and myself.
Check out these two videos of Matt Shadetek talking about the Creative Process.
The Police – Roxanne (MartyParty & Love + Light Dubstep Remix)
This one rocks and that’s why it’s tilted “Rock It”!
The Glitch Mob remix Daft Punk’s – Derezzed
The Glitch Mob have released a remix of the White Stripes “Seven Nation Army”.
Nocturnal 2011 lineup is starting to be released. Bassnectar, Ghostland Observatory, Chase and Status, Galactic, Above and Beyond, Excision are the big one released at the moment.
Totally agreed. I had the same conversation with my wife while we were laughing through the T-Pain train wreck during the VMAs recently. I felt embarrassed for everyone on stage and yet they are the top of the heap! What a joke! I was always one of the biggest fans of rap / hip-hop and over the past few years I can’t seem to tolerate more than about 20 seconds of it before any top-10 song makes me cringe. So sad. The new generation of hip-pop killed the genre and made it so dumbed down I swear it’s only made for a jr. high audience. Lollipop? Puhhhhh-leeeeeze.
Peace,
Jason S.
go ahead mr. wendel(s).
Lil wayne’s the only one i’m feelin with this plug-in debate… hip hop has been so boring for years…it took a software cheat to get people’s attention. At least Wayne Little is singing shit with some level of depth.
Still.
Immortal Technique ….got them all on lock.
speaking of,
maybe some people dont know, Roger Troutman made the vocoder immortal. Believe it or not i saw Roger LIVE at a metal rock bar called the BACKROOM in Austin before the venue shut down fer good.
But i cant leave out the master,
