Off to Chihuahua to play at 46 Bar & Lounge

Marcos Barrera has asked me to come play at the 46 Bar & Lounge in Chihuahua, Mexico this Friday, Feb 1st.  Lance Cashion has played there several times and has had a blast every time.  I’m super excited to meet these guys and hopefully rock the house for them. Another month, another mix. Here’s a new mix from my 2008-01-25 edition of The Sound on Proton Radio .com. I’m calling it “New Chapter”, as I’ve just bought a new house and feel like this is most definitely a new chapter in my life. I like this mix because I start with some minimal move into some tech house then some electro and end up in some dance rock. I really enjoy shifting genre’s and experimenting with layering moods and energies. Feel free to download or stream the mix. Tracklisting below.

2008 Coachella Lineup Announced

Goldenvoice has announced the 2008 Coachella lineup. As usual, there is a healthy lineup of electronic acts. The big ones for me are Adam Freeland, Diplo, Boyz Noize, Junkie XL, James Zabiela, Sebastian, Uffie, Simian Mobile Disco, Booka Shade and Deadmau5.

 Portishead is obviously huge but having gone to Coachella last year, I can say that the smaller acts are a bit more enjoyable than the main stage acts.
